Then work u pan appetite because Baton Rouge is known for its awesome local cuisine.  Baton Rouge does have a bunch of really good restaurants to choose from.  You have everything from French to Cajun and Greek to Seafood.  Baton Rouge has it all.  Try the the local favorite, Fleur-De-Lis Cocktail Lounge, on Government Street.  It comes highly recommended you will have an excellent dining experience.   After dinner check out Baton Rouge's vibrant nightlife.  It is like none other.  You will have a great time visiting places like Chelsea's Cafe on Perkins Road or the Spanish Moon on Highland.  With their delicous food, live music concerts and a fun atmosphere, these clubs are worth the visit.

After a checking out the restaurants and nightlife, you may want to relax a little. Baton Rouge offers a wonderful Farmers Market on Main Street.  Main Street Market is located at 501 Main Street in downtown Baton Rouge. This is a public marketplace that is supported by the local and state government.  It offers the local farmers an opportunity to show their amazing local grown crops.  At the same time the Main Street Market gives people an opportunity to gaze on all the vividly colored produce and sample the tasty treats.
